Holy Spirit In Us - Power C - Remix

There comes a time to move beyond spiritual passivity and embrace our God-given authority in a world that desperately needs truth. Drawing from Jeremiah 29, when we find ourselves in challenging circumstances—whether in ancient Babylon or modern day society—God calls us to engage, build, plant, and seek the peace of the cities where we live. This sermon confronts a deceptive lie many Christians believe: that our voices don't matter, that our votes don't count, that we're powerless to effect change. Yet when we examine 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we discover that our weapons are not physical but spiritual, divinely powerful for destroying strongholds—including the stronghold of apathy and resignation. This isn't a call to political partisanship but to biblical engagement—voting according to God's values, praying for leaders (even those we disagree with), and rejecting the enemy's whisper that we're insignificant. Jesus could have called down more than twelve legions of angels but chose a different way —transforming hearts one at a time through love, truth, and the power of His Word. Our battle is spiritual, and our greatest weapons are prayer, informed action, and speaking truth with love.
